A letter from Lisa:

"Thank you for responding to our “Buy One GIVE One” campaign!  We are receiving daily requests for headband donations for various healthcare services and we are responding to the call as much as we reasonably can!  Your support of this campaign is helping in a very real way so we are extending the BOGO through the weekend.  We are a small business in a “Stay at Home” state so your purchase is helping in multiple ways:
  • Keeping all our staff at regular hours/regular pay even though working from home
  • Providing a full day of meals to a child in need (1 headband purchased still equals 3 meals!)
  • Providing comfortable, non-slip headbands to heath care workers -both male & female styles!
Thank you so much for supporting our business, our meal program & our healthcare professionals!  We are all in this together!"

Here's what else has been going on at BANDED this week in addition to the Buy One Give One campaign.

We have been making and distributing care packages that include bundles of 50 headbands, assorted in men's and women's styles. These are being taken to local hospitals and clinics to help the employees who are working longer hours. Thank you to our friends and neighbors who work at these facilities for all that you do!

We've had a lot of people reach out about sewing buttons on our headbands to help with long hours of mask wear. As a smaller company who is currently practicing social distancing, our resources are a little tight. Thankfully, we were able to donate more than 200 headbands to Sewing Soldiers of Middle Tennessee, operating out of Spring Hill! They will be adding buttons to our headbands to go with handmade gowns + masks - how awesome is that?! 🙌

Fortunately, we were also able to donate 150 yards of fabric to JH Mask Brigade, operating out of Mt. Juliet, TN. They have donated over 600 handmade cotton masks, and our fabric should help them make another 500! 😷🙌Thanks JH Mask Brigade!

It is such a wonderful opportunity to be able to giveback in a different way at BANDED. We are in awe of our amazing community and will continue to provide updates as they happen! Thank you to everyone for your continued support. #banded2gether
