A Virtual Trip to Paris

Bonjour!

When we were first designing & planning the French Collection, we thought we’d share travel tips for a trip to Paris - how to pack, favorite sites, where to shop, etc.

We planned to share all of this to help you prepare for your trip to Paris but Ahhh….the best laid plans…

Instead, we are sharing links to Free Online Virtual Tours to some of the places that inspired our SS20 French Collection.  We want to share Paris with you & invite you into our creative process.  This trip is where we found color, pattern, & style inspiration;  Where we took photos that were then turned into prints such as Peony Splendor, Provincial Poppy, Le Jardin.  The gardens in and around Paris are magnifique!

*Our Royal Apartment prints were inspired by upholstery in Napolean & Josephine’s apartments in the Louvre

*We preferred spending time outdoors in the gardens & around the waterlily pond, but we love the blue & white kitchen tile which became our print Monet’s Tiles

On this trip, we found ourselves atop the Eiffel Tower during a major downpour and lightning storm (not recommended), but you can see the daytime virtual view from the observation deck while staying warm and dry at home: Eiffel Tower Tour
